December 18th-24th’s Artist of the Week is Emily Remler, a jazz guitarist. She belongs to a tragic line as one of the great musicians who was lost to drugs, specifically heroin. Before her death at age 32, Emily attended Berklee College of Music, graduating at the age of 18 and going on to release 7 albums and make a huge impression on the jazz world. She led multiple bands and taught workshops both online and in person during the course of her career.
