I do not own any of the music that I link to on this site, and neither do I own any of the pictures that I use on this site (unless I say so). If an image is copyrighted and the owners would like me to take it down, they need only let me know and I will do so.
This site may feature music or articles with curse words or sexual references. In general, it should be appropriate for people 13 and over, but I may mark certain articles as only appropriate for ages 16 and over. If you are under the age of 13, please be mindful of any warnings you see on this site, and please don’t repeat any bad words you might read or hear in an artist’s music. I don’t want this site to be a bad influence. 🙂
The artists interviewed for this zine may talk about their own political and social views, and they have every right to do so. While I’m very political myself, I never intend to affiliate Queens of Noise with any particular political party or system of belief. This zine is for all women, regardless of their views.
That being said, I do have my own personal biases, and those may show through sometimes. I don’t expect to ever refuse to publish an interview, but I may do so if an artist expresses views that I see as horribly prejudiced. No reader should ever feel uncomfortable because an artist is expressing strong, even violent views against people of certain beliefs, religions, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, or otherwise. If you say offensive things, I reserve the right to delete them from the interview or even not publish your interview if I don’t want to support those kinds of views. If you think I’m being unfair, there are plenty of other places where you can promote yourself instead. This really shouldn’t be a problem, but I feel it’s best that I establish my beliefs about it as soon as possible.
Thank you for reading,
